SYNTEGRITY
Studio Algorhythmics participated at "Community in Progress II: Syntegrity" a theater evening realized in the Critical Media Lab Basel in collaboration with Theater Basel directed by Kevin Rittberger. Big thanks to Andrew Pickering for taking part and inspiring us to do this!
With the help of Jonas Vogel a student of scenography and Christof Hofer a student of media studies Studio Algorhythmics extended the projects Ikosahedron with small megaphones. Each speaker was sonifying one cell of an one-dimensional celllular automata. This was an new micro-variant of the "Studies on Criticality Series" Another contribution of the projects was the development and design of two simple computer models, one which implemented the Thomas Schelling's famous segregation-model and the other Rosh Ashby's famous Homoestat. The software was programmed by Chris Sattinger. The code is posted on github.
